                          Regional electricity network members are residents, business owners, municipal leaders, and members of Indigenous communities. They learn more about electricity and provide insight into lol and regional needs, issues and priorities. Join conversations about planning a reliable and affordable electricity system for your region and the province.


                          Network meetings will happen throughout fall 2019 and spring 2020. The next one is in Sault Ste. Marie on December 3.

                          Power Perspectives: Today’s Challenges, Tomorrow’s Opportunities explores key issues and trends affecting Ontario’s electricity sector, including a Q&A with IESO President and CEO Peter Gregg, as well as articles that showse the IESO’s role in enabling competition, facilitating innovation, enhancing resilience, building pacity in Indigenous communities and planning for the future.

                          Targeted funding applition window now open

                          The indoor agriculture sector is seeing unprecedented growth in Ontario, resulting in a signifint increase to the demand for electricity.

                          Through the Grid Innovation Fund, the IESO is offering grants for innovative projects that are focused on reducing electricity demand from indoor agriculture during lol and bulk system peak periods.

                          The intake window for proposals is open from November 18, 2019 to February 14, 2020. See the ll for Proposals for more information about this funding opportunity.
